A 40-minute boat ride from Nabua Lodge took us to the beautiful Blue Lagoon. The spot is a stunning snorkeling location. Despite some coral bleaching and damage, there was a large amount of fish! A huge school of black and white striped fish surrounded me at every angle.

The Sawailau Caves are a definite must-see. After diving in the cave pool, you swim into the centre of the caves. The most amazing part was diving into a tunnel to get to a different section of the caves. Here, it was a completely dark cave and the tour guide lit the area for us. We saw many symbols on the cave walls. Our tour guide said many of them had never been deciphered.
Those that dared, scaled the cavern walls and dove into the water!
